WHAT ARE CTS PATHWAYS
Career preparation built for SACI students.
These programs combine flexible online learning with practical on-campus labs. Unlike Dual Credit courses, they award high school CTS credit only and use a separate collegiate registration process.

Health Career Prep
Winter • HCS
Explore health, community support and therapeutic recreation while practising vital signs, personal care, safety, First Aid, CPR, AED use and inclusive support.
12 weeks • 5 CTS credits • 9 on campus full day labs
Applied CAD & 3D
Winter • DES
Move from technical sketches and 3D models to physical products using CAD, 3D printing and laser cutting or etching.
12 weeks • 4 CTS credits • 9 on campus full day labs
Medical First Responder
Full Year • MFR
Learn patient assessment, trauma and medical emergency response, scene management and communication, with recognized certifications (see below) built in.
34 weeks • 5 CTS credits • International Trauma Life Support Basic Provider • Incident Command System • HS Basic Life Support CPR, and Medical First Responder • weekly on campus labs
Greenhouse Green Certificate
Full Year • GC
Develop practical skills in plant growth, controlled-environment agriculture, crop management, irrigation, pest control, safety and sustainability.
34 weeks • 16 CTS credits • on campus labs

HOW TO REGISTER
A different process from Dual Credit.
Students do not submit a Lethbridge Polytechnic application for collegiate CTS pathways. Begin with your school or division off campus coordinator or school counselor, who can confirm eligibility, seat availability and provide access to the separate registration form.
